To many issues with this guy, he will not stand still, he always between my feet and biting my toe’s. It dos hurt when he bites. I have been patient with him with pooping around the house for a week he just don’t learn to do it in one place , I had puppies before they use to do it on news paper but this guy just bites and scatters it around and poops every where he can.
Any advice? Before I toss the guy over a bridge, looking at his face I don’t think I can do that either. So help please.
The pup is 8 weeks old I had him when it was 5 weeks old first given to me when it was only 4 weeks old needed his mom so I had to send him back week later was returned . he is matt, looks like German-shepherd, he does not understand No , or stop it (help)
Hi Vic I think that you are expecting too much from this puppy I'm afraid. He was taken from his momma way too early, and even though you, correctly, returned him to her, he still left her for good much too soon.
There can definitely be behavioral problems when a puppy leaves his canine family too early, and the to-ing and fro-ing your little guy did has clearly unsettled him and caused him to be fearful.
He's a tiny baby and needs patient and consistent training. He isn't behaving the way your previous pups' have behaved because a) he's a different puppy and b) he's had a difficult start.
I would strongly suggest that you read my New Puppy Care page and check out the articles/pages it links to. Your pup needs to be shown, lovingly and patiently, what is expected of him and it will likely take a little while for him to adjust.
If you really think that he is going to be too much for you to deal with, please find him another good home so that he can get the help that he needs. Craigslist.org is a good online site where you can post ads for animals available for adoption/rehoming (not sales as such though).
I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do.
